HOUSE NOTES

The image.
The sound.
The room.

A few notes on the craft behind a comfortable screening.

Framing the picture.

A film has an intended aspect ratio. The concept programme would preserve that shape rather than crop it to fill the screen. Dark masking helps the image remain the focus.

Listening carefully.

Dialogue clarity matters as much as volume. Preparation includes checking the soundtrack, presentation format and the level appropriate to the room.

Let the credits finish.

House lights should rise with care. A quiet ending deserves the same space as a loud one. The final credits remain part of the screening.

Presentation notes.

Formats shown on these pages are illustrative. This concept does not claim actual projection equipment, screenings or exhibition rights.
